# Fold and Look > A parlour game with five folded inkblots. Free in the browser: the blots are drawn from a set number, you write what you see in each, and the page tallies which answers are the ones many people give and which are your own. One metered run gives a playful reading of how you looked and a second-look question per blot. For fun only - not a psychological test. ## What it does - Each set has 5 symmetric inkblots generated in the browser (blobs on the left half mirrored onto the right, blots 2 and 3 with a red accent). "Fold a new set" draws a fresh set number. - For each blot you write what you see (up to 80 characters) and say whether the answer uses the whole blot or a part. At least 3 answers are needed; the rest may be skipped. - The tally: an answer with a word from the page's short list of answers people give most often (bat, butterfly, moth, people, face, crab and the like) is "usual", anything else is "your own"; 4 or more words counts as "detailed". The list is a rule of thumb, an estimate, not a published norm. - Verdict rule, in order: crowd's eye (at least half the answers are usual); detail hunter (more than half use only a part); far eye (at least 3 in 4 are your own and at least half are detailed); fresh eye (otherwise). - Each blot has a fixed second-look angle: size, who, when, what it is doing, a different world. ## The paid task One task, `read-blots`, on gpt-terra, metered per run. Input: `task`, `answers` (5 lines), `tally` (5 lines plus a counts line). Reply: one JSON object with `verdict`, `headline`, `blots` (each answered blot with `n`, `kind`, `reading`, `second_look`), `thread` and `closing`. The page re-checks the reply against its own tally and rule. ## Exports Markdown, CSV of the answers, JSON, the sheet of blots with your answers as SVG or PNG, print. Share sends the summary with a link to the same set (`/?set=N`), so a friend answers the same 5 blots and you can compare. ## Notes For fun only. The blots are random and say nothing about the person; the reading covers how the answers looked at the blots, never personality, mood or health. Not a diagnosis and not professional advice. ## Sources Built on the SkillSafe skill @jwynia/brainstorming (https://skillsafe.ai/skill/@jwynia/brainstorming). - App: https://fold-and-look.skillsafe.ai/ - API: https://fold-and-look.skillsafe.ai/api.html
